Prepare for your session

1 Hydrate! With the “LIBBEE”, you are able to urinate during the session. Liquids include filtered water, fresh organic juices, and herbal teas. There is no need to stop drinking liquids before your appointment

2 1-2 days prior, consider eating fresh organic fruits and veggies, smoothies, soups and light proteins such as fish or chicken.

3 If possible, avoid or reduce red meat, dairy, pasta, and gas producing foods.

4 Try to arrive 2-3 hours after eating, to avoid a full stomach.

After your session

1 Continue to Hydrate! If needed, add a tiny pinch of Himalayan salt into your water.

2 Eat easy to digest, organic foods such as lightly steamed veggies, baked sweet potato, smoothies, homemade soups and quinoa.

3For 24 hours, avoid “white” foods such as white flour products (bread, pasta, etc), milk and dairy products, sugar and starches (white rice, potatoes, etc.).

4 Eat minimally or avoid raw veggies, salads, red meat, alcohol, and sugar.

Preparing before and after your session may decrease any potential side effects or “healing crisis”. What is a Healing Crisis?… or as it is formally known, The Herxheimer Reaction, is characterized by a temporary increase in discomfort during the body’s process of detoxification. It occurs when internal toxins and wastes are being released faster than the body can eliminate them.

Be kind to yourself, and get the rest that you need. If you are feeling fatigued or sleepy, your body is telling you to rest. A good massage might be helpful to speed up the healing process and reduce any discomfort. Symptoms frequently disappear within 24 hours.
